This is a new regular feature for us at STSL: capturing those moments of simple satisfaction that tend to happen when you stop to notice them.
Lots of stuff didn't get done this weekend, but these things did. And life was beautiful.
Finding a renegade sunflower climbing through our fence--its seeds mysteriously blown in from some unknown location.
"Flying" on the swing with butterfly wings.
Feeling the cool Rivanna running over our toes.
Harvesting the first summer squash of the season (from seeds started inside in March!) and beating the birds to the second crop of ripe cherry tomatoes (no peck marks!).
Happy Monday.
