These days, I've noticed I have something of a fetish for fresh-picked local produce. I don't seem to be alone, as similar obsessions are reflected in a plethora of great food quotes, so I thought I'd share a visual record of my recent culinary conquests.
"Sex is good, but not as good as fresh, sweet corn." ~Garrison Keillor
"Shipping is a terrible thing to do to vegetables. They probably get jet-lagged, just like people." ~Elizabeth Berry
"Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." ~Harriet van Horne
"Only two things that money can't buy
That's true love and home grown tomatoes."
~John Denver
